Communicating During Crisis: Lessons Learned Following the BP Oil Spill

 

Join PRSA New Orleans for an exicting luncheon about lessons learned from the BP oil spill.  Our presenter will be Robert A. Thomas, PhD.

Since the BP oil spill in 2010, Robert A. Thomas, PhD.  has been a member of the Louisiana Office of Tourism's Expert Bureau. He is the director of the Center for Environmental Communication at Loyola and founder of the Institute for Environmental Communication, which was created as a way to bring together different stakeholders in the environmental arena to address issues and offer solutions.  

Thomas is a recognized expert in his field and has been interviewed by several local, national and international media outlets including the BBC, National Public Radio, Fox News and Associated Press.
