President's Message

Thanks for taking time to learn more about the New Orleans Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).  Our organization is committed to advancing the public relations profession, as well as the professional. We strive to do this by providing learning and professional development opportunities, setting standards of excellence and upholding principles of ethics for our members and, more broadly, the global public relations profession.

The New Orleans Chapter of PRSA was established in 1985. Since then, our membership has grown to include senior and novice public relations professionals from full-service and boutique agencies as well as in-house public relations strategists serving the healthcare, petrochemical, entertainment and tourism industries.  Whether you are a dedicated communication professional serving a large government organization or a struggling non-profit media coordinator trying to get the word out, our monthly professional development luncheons, networking events and annual awards program offer skills to improve communication with your target audiences and generate results.  Please plan to join PRSA New Orleans at an upcoming event and see for yourself what the public relations professionals in the metro area are all about.
